Iconography / Iconology.

I really struggle with iconography as I feel it is very difficult to understand, so I do feel that I can understand work without a reference or iconography or iconology, what I do recognise is that, three different versions of a gesture which we can read, with different perspectives. We question what it is we see, what it means and a deeper meaning to it. This is what I have taken away from the lecture, that with the majority of my work,  I can analysis it in this way now, of questioning the image with three motifs.
