Type Transcription.

When in John's sessions we had to create our own typeface, I decided to take my inspiration from a restaurant in Leeds called Bibi's (image below). I felt the writing was very easy on the eye and felt almost gatsby inspired, so I drew up a style all in capital letters, as I felt the capital letters made more sense as that was what the Bibi's restaurant style is.

When I drew up my font however when I scanned it into illustrator it wouldn't actually show so I decided to draw every letter individually see image on the left, I then scanned them in and then edited them to look like the image on the right.
