I know this may not sound like a normal 'skill of the month' but it took a lot of effort, so basically this month I had to do a presentation based on my previous project, 'City in Flux', this is due to the project coming to an end so we did a basic overview.
I ended up presenting for my group which consisted of:
Emma Nicholson- http://emmanicholsoncreativeportfolio.blogspot.co.uk
Alex Nicholson-
Luke Pearson- http://lukepearsongraphics.blogspot.co.uk
Their blogs our linked in so please check them out as they are such talented designers, and I was so fortunate to work in a group with them, Luke was our copywriter, this meant he checked everything that was sent written wise for a spell check and punctuality check, he would also make us sound a lot more clever! Alex was our Team Leader, therefore if we had any issues or problems we would speck to Alex, he also kept us on track and made deadlines for us to aim and make. Emma was our designer as you can see she is very talented and she was ADAMANT she wanted to design our presentation. I then made the notes and shortened it down for the actual presentation and performed in front of my peers and senior lecturer John Kelly.
It was a fun task and it was great learning to work in a team with new people, as I had seen them around university but not actually worked with them before they are a great bunch of designers and it was fun working alongside them!
